Trafalgar were a British company started by Willy Herman in the mid-1970's.
Although made in the UK, the watches were actually assembled from various overseas components - cases from Switzerland, semiconductors from Caifornia and modules and bracelets from Bangkok. The result was a range of cool-looking and affordable stainless steel watches.
One button displayed hours and mins, and seconds on a second press. The other button displayed day and date. Display turned off after a cople of seconds to conserve power as, with all LED-display devices of the day, battery life was not great. Most took 2 X Ag13 batteries.
